Red Dot Names Bill Jewell Marketing Manager, Aftermarket
SEATTLE, Wash. (August 25, 2011)—Red Dot Corporation, a global supplier of heating and air conditioning systems, components, and aftermarket parts for heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, has appointed Bill Jewell marketing manager for the company’s aftermarket business.
Based in Seattle, Jewell is responsible for marketing and support programs for the company’s network of 175 independent distributor locations in the United States and Canada. Jewell most recently was aftermarket program manager and manager of Red Dot’s military aftermarket business. He reports to Bruce Channer, vice president and chief financial officer.
Red Dot also announced the hiring of Ron Hidalgo as marketing specialist. His responsibilities include projects related to Red Dot’s all-makes catalog, product literature, and inventory analysis. Hidalgo has a background in inside sales, customer service, and logistics. He reports to Jewell.
Red Dot’s aftermarket business supplies heating and air conditioning units, components, and all-makes replacement parts for heavy-duty trucks, buses, and off-highway equipment with enclosed cabs.
