JBAR Units Join the Red Dot Catalog

JBAR units are a great fit for the Red Dot family. That’s by design, says Mike Pease, who manages the JBAR business for Red Dot.

Mike owned JBAR A/C from 2001 until it was acquired by Red Dot last August.

“We developed JBAR heating and air conditioning units to match the performance and durability that Red Dot is known for,” Mike says, “but with a size, capacity, mounting location, or some other feature that would make JBAR units stand out.”

One example is the R-9753 (previously JBAR’s EE120). It’s a headliner A/C unit similar to the R-9755 A/C unit, but it’s more compact and has a heat option.

“As we planned each product, we looked for something unique,” Mike says. “As JBAR units are added to the Red Dot catalog, you’ll see that there isn’t a lot of overlap. Each one answers the customer’s question, ‘I like this unit, but I need it to do this.’ Between Red Dot and the JBAR line, we have a unit to address practically every need.”

JBAR units are built in Valley View, Ohio, near Cleveland. The company has a 30-year history in the heavy-duty HVAC market tracing back to its days as Eagle Engineering & Manufacturing.
