Retired Florida Vehicle Enforcement Administrator Joins Intelligent Imaging Systems

LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 25, 2013 — Intelligent Imaging Systems is pleased to announce that Lt. Colonel David Binder (retired), former deputy director of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement division of the Florida Department of Transportation, has joined Intelligent Imaging Systems in the role of transportation solutions director.
David brings with him over 25 years of state law enforcement experience – starting his career as a state trooper and retiring as deputy director. David also served as co-chair of Florida’s Preventive Radiological Nuclear Detection Committee, Chairman of Florida’s Commercial Vehicle and Cargo Theft Task Force, and as a member of the Florida Seaport Security Standards Advisory Council. Prior to joining Intelligent Imaging Systems, David provided contracting services to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Domestic Nuclear Detection Office.

David has also served as an instructor at the Florida Highway Patrol Training Academy, served on the Advisory Board for the Banner Center for Homeland Security and Defense, and earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Florida State University. David is a member of the State Law Enforcement Chiefs’ Association and the American Association of State Troopers, and resides in Tallahassee, Florida.
